Starting with a small number of immigrants in the last century, Arab-Canadians have
become an important addition to the Canadian mosaic.
Arab-Canadians are now contributing their talents to Canadian society at every level. Because our homeland was the cradle of civilization and the birthplace of the three monolithic religions, we feel very fortunate to have been able to become citizens of Canada, the envy of the world and the bastion of liberty, security and democracy. Through our Newspaper, Almohajer/ Windsor Business Review we hope to contribute to better understanding and stronger relations between Canada and the Arab World to the mutual benefit of both peoples. Closer economic ties between Canada and the vast Arab markets, will lead to future with an increased flow and exchange of ideas and values, as well as the technical know how and other commodities.
We believe that blending the values of the past with the principles and progress of the present will secure a brighter future where liberty, justice, democracy and peace prevail for all. Dear reader, whether you celebrate Christmas, or simply festive time with friends, relatives and family, all of us at Almohajer/ Windsor Business Review newspaper wish you happy holidays and the very best of the season. We can end, appropriately I believe, by urging an application of the Christmas message-“Glory to God on high, and on earth peace to all peoples of good will.”
